One of my responsibilities as a Senior Designer at AvenueHQ is to create marketing materials for our social channels, webinars, and tradeshows.
My duties are always to ensure that all materials are on-brand; that all assets are used to reflect the vision of Avenue and that a design system is maintained.
Featured in our social posts (as well as in our client-facing app) are unique and custom illustrations that I’ve created.
Forest Foods is a BC-based natural foods company that specializes in edible foods found in the understory of the forest. The mission of the company has two priorities: working with Indigenous groups to help control the foraging of these products, as the crops are normally located on their territory, as well as package and distribute these foods to market.
I’ve not only created the branding assets for Forest Foods, but have also designed packaging and a signage system for their harvesting regulation initiatives.

Kanata Café is the first and only Canadian themed, family owned and operated café in Yokohama, Japan. The name Kanata is an indigenous Canadian word meaning “village” or “settlement” which is the origin of the name of Canada.
My role was to create all branding assets for the coffee shop that included logo design, iconography and some interior design consultation.

The PHS Community Services Society is a charitable, non-profit that operates social housing, safe injection sites, detox facilities, and shelters in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and Victoria.
In 2019, I was contracted by PHS as their designer, being responsible for brand development, recruitment campaign design, social media marketing, posters for various events, and apparel design.
My favourite design was for MOPs:
The Maple Overdose Prevention Site (177 E. Hastings) opened in December 2016 by the PHS to provide emergency services and a safe injection site to help in the fight against the current opioid overdose crisis. The dedicated and looking and loving staff save dozens of lives daily! It was an honour to create a logo that the staff and peers can feel proud to bear, and for the folks in the community to recognize as a safe place.
Mavericks is a paleta-style ice pop company here on Salt Spring Island. My rationale behind the branding was to create a vibrant, yet chilly colour palette and give the wordmark a nod to mid-century sign design.
La Rousse, located in Seattle, is a chic boutique salon with exceptionally-trained stylists with over 15 years of experience.
The logo is inspired by Parisian elegance, whitespace, and the idea that every human head takes a different shape and form.
Logo and branding for Bowen Island, BC's first annual craft beer and music festival.
The elements of the logo were inspired by mid-century drawings of Bowen Island; a time when the island was a recreational site for Vancouverites.
Logo for EVSS. The EVSS is an independent, non-profit society dedicated to the advancement of amateur hardball in East Vancouver.
My idea behind this logo was to integrate elements of secret societies, such as the Odd Fellows Society, and baseball.
